Purpose:As a CRO Manager, you\\\'ll be instrumental in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.
You will:Develop and implement procedures to enhance order processing quality.Reduce order and shipment turnaround times.Minimize delivery costs from suppliers to customers.Secure timely compensation and rebates from our suppliers.Ensure the accuracy of supplier sellouts, as well as our internal reports and systems.Responsibilities:Strategy & Planning:Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and forwarders.Devise shipment strategies for complex orders and specific regions.Promptly escalate any issues to relevant parties.Negotiate terms with forwarders to optimize shipping operations.Maintain and refine internal tools affected by supplier interactions.Operational Leadership:Conduct thorough checks on customer orders/invoices, focusing on margins, incoterms, and payment terms.Oversee the issuance of credit notes for customers.Address and escalate delivery issues with forwarders.Collaborate cross-departmentally to address and resolve CRO issues.Manage daily sellout reports to suppliers and address any discrepancies.Monitor and follow up on compensations/rebates from suppliers.Harmonize reporting formats as required by suppliers.Continuous Improvement:Conduct regular review meetings.Implement necessary changes to meet departmental needs.Innovate and deploy new tools and procedures.Decision-Making Authority:Lead negotiations with forwarders on warehousing, shipping prices, and transit times to reduce costs.Authorize claims documents for damaged or missing items to secure payments.Manage claims with our insurance department to ensure compensation.Approve inventories, financial provisions, and Margin Contribution reports.Resolve financial disputes and manage pending rebates and funds with suppliers.Responsibilities Management:Provide solutions for issues encountered by Sales Admin/logistics and Order Processing teams.Resolve critical customer issues and maintain supplier communication.Liaise with inspection offices regarding shipment and documentation issues.Facilitate the clearance of problematic shipments across the UK, Europe, and Africa.Oversee logistics hubs setup.Ensure accurate monthly sales sellout reporting.Skills and Competencies:Proficiency in ERP and Excel.Knowledge of logistics and customs regulations.Ability to manage and analyse large data sets.Personal Attributes:Leadership and coaching ability.Results-driven attitude.Business acumen.Strong team leadership.Exceptional planning and organizational capabilities.Effective communicator.Creative problem-solver.Customer-focused mindset.3 years plus experienceOrganizational Position:Reports To: Finance and Administration ManagerJoin us in a critical role within our logistics and supply chain operations.
