Description Job Title: Channel Pre-Sales Security Engineer - Remote United Kingdom only Position Overview: Forescout is seeking a experienced Channel Pre-Sales Security Engineer to support our growing network of channel partners.
As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to channel partners, enabling them to effectively sell and support Forescout's cybersecurity solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security and a proven ability to work with channel partners to drive revenue growth and customer success.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with channel partners and internal teams to articulate the technical value of Forescout's products and solutions.
You will provide technical training, product demonstrations, and hands-on support to ensure partners are equipped to position and sell Forescout's market-leading solutions.

Minimum Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Channel Sales Engineer, or a similar technical pre-sales role within the network security or cybersecurity industry.
Demonstrated success in working with channel partners, including resellers, distributors, and system integrators.
Experience in conducting product demonstrations, POCs, and technical training sessions.
Proven experience in technical sales, solution design, and technical account management within cybersecurity.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent project management and team collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities Technical Enablement: Provide technical support and guidance to channel partners by delivering detailed product training, certifications, and hands-on workshops that empower partners to sell and implement Forescout solutions.
Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with partners during the pre-sales process to articulate the technical value of Forescout's offerings.
Assist in identifying customer needs, performing solution demonstrations, and conducting proof-of-concept (POC) engagements.
Partner Development: Build strong relationships with channel partners, acting as the key technical advisor to help them develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed with Forescout's solutions.
Solution Design: Assist partners in designing and architecting Forescout security solutions, ensuring that partner-led implementations are successful and align with customer requirements.
Sales Support: Partner with the channel sales team to drive revenue growth by identifying technical opportunities within the partner network and collaborating on sales strategies and account plans.
Technical Evangelism: Represent Forescout at industry events, trade shows, and partner conferences, delivering presentations and technical demonstrations to promote the value of Forescout's solutions.
Partner Success: Provide ongoing technical support for channel partners during post-sales implementation and troubleshooting, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and successful solution deployment.
Feedback and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Forescout's product management, engineering, and marketing teams to provide feedback from the field, helping shape future product development and partner enablement programs.
Technical Expertise Required Network Security Technologies: Expertise in Network Access Control (NAC), IPS, Firewalls (FW), Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Assessment tools, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and other similar cybersecurity solutions for both IT and OT environments.
Networking Protocols & Infrastructure: Deep understanding of networking technologies such as Routing, Switching (Layer 2/Layer 3), MPLS, VPN, LAN/WAN, VLAN, 802.1X, SSL, and related protocols.
OT Security: Strong Knowledge with securing operational technology environments, addressing unique threats and vulnerabilities in ICS/SCADA systems.
SIEM: Strong Understanding of SIEM technologies for log management, log analysis, and event correlation.
Authentication & Access Control: Proficient in 802.1x, RADIUS, LDAP, AD, smart cards, and other authentication mechanisms.
Security Tools & Troubleshooting: Hands-on experience with tools like TCPDUMP, Wireshark, NETSTAT, and SNMPWALK for network and security troubleshooting.
Operating Systems & Platforms: Proficiency in Linux/UNIX, Windows, Mac, as well as mobile platforms such as Android and iOS.
Database Security: Working knowledge of SQL, MySQL, and database security.
Additional Preferred Skills & Certifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, Security+, CCNA, CCNP, or CCSP.
Travel Requirements Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned region, including potential travel to international locations as needed.
