Job Summary: This position is responsible for leading the new product launch, development, expansion, and market growth of the 3D X-ray portfolio across the UK and Europe.
The role includes managing revenue growth through distribution partners in both veterinary and human health sectors, with an emphasis on strategic business development.
Commercial Distributor Manager Salary: £DoE + Benefits Package / OTE Location: UK Based with travel to head office in Oxford Main Duties and Responsibilities: Achieving and exceeding annual sales and gross profit targets by strategically managing distribution channels.
Growing market share across the entire portfolio by maintaining strong relationships with current distributors and identifying new distribution partners .
This includes overseeing business plans, contract negotiations, and onboarding.
Monitoring distributor performance to ensure alignment with sales and budget commitments, holding partners accountable for financial and revenue targets.
Tracking, reporting, and actively managing new and ongoing evaluations and tenders within the region.
This includes internal reporting and external distributor engagement.
Forecasting new business wins and tracking performance against budgetary goals, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
Ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and regional regulations across all markets.
Representing the company at key regional events to promote products, generate leads, and build brand recognition.
Conducting regular visits with distribution partners, facilitating commercial reviews, and providing product training and sales support for distributor sales teams.
Presenting market performance, insights, and upcoming opportunities to the Senior Management Team (SMT) .
Collaborating with the clinical team to define and implement training requirements for distributors, focusing on quarterly updates to maintain knowledge across the portfolio.
Skills Required: Market insight and strategic analysis skills for proactively identifying market trends, evaluating sales performance, and identifying areas for growth.
Strong commercial acumen with a focus on contract management and business development.
Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships , balancing internal and external expectations and building positive, productive partnerships.
Proficiency with IT systems and CRM tools , including advanced Excel skills.
Exceptional communication skills for effective presentation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to work independently with strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and achieve goals.
Experience Required: Demonstrated success in international Medical Devices sales , ideally through a distributor model, with veterinary sales experience as an advantage.
Significant experience in distributor management with medical devices, and ideally medical imaging experience (preferred but not essential).
Other Requirements: Valid driver's license , with full rights to work in the UK and the ability to travel internationally for work.
