A bit about the role: You'll be providing analysis-based pricing or underwriting recommendations to help deliver continual improvement to the products you're working on.
You will also work closely with colleagues from across the business and share your ideas to identify the right opportunities to achieve profitable growth and deliver good outcomes for customers.
You will work with your colleagues to develop and integrate new and existing tools, software, and platform integrations.
We use a variety of tools and software within our roles, it's not necessary for you to have tool-specific experience, but some low or medium level coding experience would be an advantage.
This role is in the Personal Lines Underwriting (PLU) Community which looks after the pricing (how much we charge) and underwriting (how we manage our decisions and risk) for our 'personal line' (home, motor and travel) insurance products in the UK.
The team is made up of a broad variety of people; some have been with the company for over 30 years whilst others have just finished University.
