Lead finance function for a family-owned business with 21 hotels and 28 restaurants, providing strategic and financial guidance to support corporate objectives.
Key responsibilities include managing profitability, developing banking and accounting relationships, and overseeing the finance team.
Manage business profitability and assist with growth and expansion.
Develop and manage banking and accounting relationships.
Lead and develop the finance team.
Oversee the annual operating budget and ensure financial compliance.
Work with Commercial and Operations Directors on revenue forecasts.
Support hotel acquisitions and development opportunities.
Ensure effective treasury and cash flow management.
Oversee payroll and expenses cycle.
Monitor external contracts and services.
Requirements include ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, a proven track record in senior finance roles, and knowledge of banking and funding procedures.
Commercial experience in supporting organisational strategy and undertaking acquisition investment appraisals is also required.
Knowledge of franchise business models is an advantage.
