We are currently seeking a Central Projects Graphic Manager to join the team here at SGS&Co.
This role requires a senior, highly organized and detail-oriented individual who has a strong background in design development, as well as experience in managing projects from concept to completion.
The Central Project Graphics Manager will be responsible for assessing designs, developing templates, and ensuring print feasibility for a variety of projects across the specified European region.
Role and responsibilities: • Supporting the client in technical packaging design evaluation and print development.
• Work with the clients Design 2 Shelf team and adhere to the specified Pack Change Process.
• Providing print related expertise to the clients design team and informing of likely outcome for the desired graphical style.
• Offering the client informed opinions on selected design routes.
Strong knowledge of print production processes and techniques.
• Coordinating print development projects and utilizing relationships with Key packaging suppliers.
• Working with markets to understand key launch dates and pack formats.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Fully understands and appreciates the clients culture and reflects this in behaviour patterns and ways of working of self and team.
• Creating critical paths utilising supplied data and working to a 6-week client process prior to localisation.
• Knowledgeably cascade all known design information to the OGM team at the time of localisation.
• Work with local markets to unlock localisation issues on the chosen design route.
• This role requires a huge amount of ability to work under pressure with an ability to pivot direction on design route due to client business decisions.
• Provides project summaries as required.
• Produce summaries of projects for all stakeholders and/or appropriate entries to KO Art.
• Perform Graphic Manager tasks as and when required.
Ideally, you will have: • Proven experience as a Central Projects Graphic Manager in a design agency environment, or similar role on client side • Experience within an Artwork, Pre-press and print environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings • Excellent organisational and planning skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience in various project management tools • A collaborative and solutions focused-mindset • Critical thinking skills • Unparalleled attention-to-detail • The desire to take the initiative on projects and have a passion to learn/grow • Strong analytical skills, and be a proactive problem-solver • Understanding of design terminology and creative process would be beneficial
