Job summary This is an exciting new opportunity train as a CBT for Psychosis and Bipolar Therapist, undertaking an intensive two year training programme.
The role and training are funded by Health Education England, and will lead into employment as a band 7 Psychological Therapist on the successful completion of the training course.
Come and join our Psychological Therapies Teams (PTS), working with adults of working age, in South Glos.The post holder will work as part of our provision for people with a diagnosis of Psychosis and Bipolar, and be an active member of our Therapies Team and Community Mental Health Services.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated to provide a good quality, evidence-based psychological service and will have experience of working with individuals with complex psychological difficulties.
Main duties of the job We are looking for experienced clinicians with a passion to develop their Cognitive Behavioural Therapy skills.
We are looking for full time ( part-time above will be considered) candidates and you must be able to attend the Exeter CBT training course as the course requires and also complete all necessary assignments.You will be a very welcome addition to the team, and you will be supported to progress and develop confidence in your skills to deliver CBT with a broad range of difficulties and as a specialist practitioner in delivering CBT for people living with Psychosis and Bipolar.
You will be provided with CBT supervision within the Psychological Therapies team and also by the course during the training.
Upon completion of the training you will be working the South Glos.
Recovery as an integral part of the ROSE team.We are looking for candidates who are committed to staying within the South Glos Locality team post qualification as valued members of the Therapies Service.

Job description Job responsibilities To offer a psychological therapy service within the PTS specialised area.
To provide an assessment and treatment service, using relevant specialist CPD qualifications for clients within secondary mental health services.
To the delivery of support interventions in other secondary care teams through joint working and consultation.
To participate in service development and maintain relevant professional CPD requirements.
To participate in clinical, management and caseload supervision arrangements.
To maintain accurate records and monitor clinical workload using agreed systems.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential A BABCP recognised core profession ( registered mental health nurse, social worker, occupational therapist or take the KSA route to apply (completing a KSA portfolio) t etc.)
At least two year's post qualification experience working with people with Some introductory knowledge/experience of CBT An undergraduate degree or equivalent Desirable Psychology degree would be advantageous Interest in working with the psychosis and bipolar service user population Experience of working in community MDT settings
