If so, we may just have the job for you in our onsite restaurant.Following a major investment in our restaurant, we are now looking for additional colleagues to join our restaurant team - full training will be given.Our Catering Assistant - Retail role is very varied, one day you could be serving breakfasts, and lunch to colleagues, patients and visitors, the next you could be assisting with hospitality for colleagues, to then making our inhouse baguettes, fruit pots or helping to place orders.
The days are busy, but very varied, and rewarding.Our restaurant is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so you will need to be flexible, and be able to adapt to change, our shifts vary from 0700-1900, and should you be successful in your application your shifts will be allocated on a 5 from 7 basis on a roster, which will be issued at least 2 weeks in advance.Full Training will be given, and we welcome applications from those in under represented categories.
We want to make sure our colleagues are a true representative of the service users, and our local area.
Training will be initially for 2 weeks Monday-Friday.Due to the nature of this role you will need to be 18+ in order to fulfil this role.
Main duties of the job The role of the Catering Assistant - Retail is to carry out all duties to the required standard for the provision of the catering services within the Hospital.
