This would include providing breakfast, lunch and buffet meals at our Cambridge office. The suitable candidate would prepare a variety of meals, liase with colleagues, work efficiently and maintain a cleanly work environment. Your responsibilities will include: Prepare breakfast, lunch and buffet meals. To order food and other supplies and accept their delivery and storage. To arrange with outside caterers to provide meals when necessary. To be responsible for the Stobbs, Cambridge office, kitchen and ensure its cleanliness at all times. Develop and plan menus and daily specials that include special dietary requirements. Create food preparation plans. Manage food costing and inventory. Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance. Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations. Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules. Potential for involvement in the running of the Stobbs IP Ltd. food truck. Essential skills and experience Hold a qualification in food hygiene. Ideally hold a class C1 driving license. Demonstrate knowledge of culinary techniques / practices. Understanding of menu and recipe development techniques. Ongoing awareness of culinary trends and dietary requirements. Understanding of health and safety legislation relating to the catering industry. Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Firm culture is important at Stobbs - friendly, social, approachable and where we look after each other.
