Category Manager - Pitched Roofing

Were currently recruiting for a Category Manager.
As Category Manager, you willmanage a group of product categories to achieve financial targets, ensuring the categories meet customer demands, and deliver an outstanding, consistent offer throughout the branch network.
This is a national, field based role, reporting to the Commercial Director.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales and gross margins of their categories, building strong relationships with suppliers, managing working capital, and developing category strategies to deliver success against objectives.
The successful candidate will require: Knowledge of the roofing products market; Strong negotiation and influencing skills; Commercial awareness; An ability to work strategically to meet organisational goals; Excellent numeracy and analytical abilities; An ability to analyse and identify market and product opportunities whilst also supporting the business in utilising such opportunities Closing date for applications is Friday 08 November 2024.
