This role is responsible for overall category management of renewable energy space and other revenue generating contracts. You will develop and manage multiple compelling sourcing initiatives and in-life contract management activities that deliver best value to Thames Water. Accountable for establishing effective working relationships with both key stakeholders and the supply market whilst demonstrating Thames Water values and behaviours.
What you'll be doing as a Category ManagerLeading strategy development for specific projects as allocated by the Head of Supplier and Category Management, in line with agreed category strategies.Demonstrating that sustainability, innovation and risk management, collaboration, health and safety & well-being are effectively considered and managed through each initiative.Ensuring that audit trails, document and information systems and all supplier information exchanges are effective, with robust confidentiality and traceability, in line with the Procurement Regulations.Working with stakeholders on the responsibilities for contract launch and seamless implementation.Creating compelling, well-structured, accurate reports, documents and presentations and effectively deliver to all levels of the business.Ensuring timely and accurate reporting on the sourcing projects using available reporting tools.Support development of best practice across the Commercial lifecycle; ensuring that documentation is updated for the Thames Water team.Base LocationHybrid – Clear Water Court Reading or Camelford House London (depending on your location)
