As part of their growth, they are looking for an experienced and motivated Bathroom Category Manager to join their team and lead the growth of their bathroom category.
Job Overview: The Bathroom Category Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and management of all bathroom product lines.
This role involves a deep understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities within the bathroom space.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to enhance the product range, maximise profitability, and ensure the bathroom category's alignment with the company goals.
Key Responsibilities: Category Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the bathroom category, focusing on growth, profitability, and market leadership.
Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and gaps within the category.
Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
Pricing & Promotions: Set pricing strategies and promotional plans to maximise sales and maintain competitive positioning.
Inventory Management: Work closely with supply chain and inventory teams to optimise stock levels, reduce costs, and ensure product availability.
Sales Analysis & Reporting: Track sales performance, identify trends, and report on key KPIs to inform category performance and strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and e-commerce teams to support product launches, advertising, and customer engagement initiatives.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in category or product management, ideally within the bathroom or home improvement sector.
Proven track record of successful category management and/or product management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in category management software, Excel, and business intelligence tools.
A results-driven mindset with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of bathroom products and industry trends is highly advantageous.
