Category, Brand and Marketing Manager Salary: up to £55,000 Location: West Yorkshire – hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home Benefits: 25 days holiday + 2 after 3 years service, pension, private healthcare, death in service Our client is seeking a talented Category, Brand, and Marketing Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will work across both own-label and branded personal care products, combining brand management, category insight, and marketing expertise.
We are looking for an individual with significant experience in the FMCG sector, particularly in brand management and category roles, with a proven track record of working with major high street retailers or top grocery customers.
A background in both own-label and branded products is ideal, and experience within the healthcare industry would be a valuable asset.
The role will involve: Creating and presenting annual brand plans Developing brand positioning and direction, including name, strapline, logo, packaging design, product design Brief artwork to artwork agencies Brand photography Present our brands to customers alongside the sales team Creating and managing brand guidelines Social media management (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), including customer service, community management & engagement, social listening, ads & analytics PR (either in-house or via agency) Working closely with the sales team to provide category insight and recommendations Define who customers are to develop brand strategies and analysing industry and consumer trends Managing the product life cycle from concept to shelf including managing product exit strategies Lead in the development of long-term category strategies Provide support for range reviews and product range management, including conducting pricing analysis and delivering compelling customer presentations Conduct / commission research to inform corporate, category, brand and customer strategies Updating and maintaining the company website and social media Working with and managing agencies when required including PR/ artwork/ brand specialists Creating customer marketing strategy, acting as key contact for customers to develop marketing support Creating and developing marketing assets, working with agencies when required for internal and external communications Creating assets for trade shows, sales presentations, social media, printed marketing collateral Work and managing the relationships with affiliated charities Requirements for the role: 5-10 years experience in brand/ category/ marketing experience Strong background in FMCG – high street retailers or grocers Ability to interpret and analyse data and inform recommendations Strong presentation skills Own label & branded experience an advantage Healthcare/ Personal care industry experience and advantage People leadership roles This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing and dynamic organisation with excellent opportunities for development and career growth.
