The Role Join Our Team as a Casual Security Officer!
Are you someone who enjoys variety and working with a purpose?
As a Casual Security Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our Council meetings, held in four of our historic Town Halls.
These meetings typically take place in the evenings, anytime from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
You'll be responsible for securing our facilities, keeping staff and visitors safe, and conducting regular patrols to make sure everything is in order.
We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail, great communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Plus, you'll have access to a Council vehicle during your shifts, so you can easily travel between locations.

About You We are currently seeking qualified security officers to join our team on a casual basis.
As we continue to ensure a safe and secure environment for our clients and patrons, we are looking for dedicated professionals who can represent our values and maintain our high standards of security.
You will work alongside our in-house experienced Security team.
We are seeking individuals with prior experience in security roles, working alongside our in-house Security team, you will possess excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies.
Casual positions offer flexible hours, allowing individuals to work according to their availability while still providing essential support to our operations.
You will have a valid SIA licence and a current clean driving licence.
