We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support schools across Scarborough on a day-to-day, ad-hoc basis.

Responsibilities: Support pupils with challenging behaviour on a one-to-one or small group basis.
Assist in implementing individual behaviour plans.
Work closely with class teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interactions among pupils.
Adapt to different school settings and build rapport quickly with staff and students.
Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs (essential).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexibility to travel to schools within the Scarborough area.
A calm and patient approach to handling challenging situations.
Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
