We are seeking to employ a Level 3 Teaching Assistant at Canolfan Bro Tywi, educating primary aged pupils who demonstrate social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The person will provide emotional wellbeing support in addressing the needs of pupils who require particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant the post will also involve supervising a 1:1 pupil where required alongside small groups of pupils to deliver academic support, alongside pastoral support and guiding wellbeing programmes to pupils excluded from, or not otherwise working to, a mainstream school timetable.

DBS level:
An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job.

Welsh language level - Verbal:
Level 2 - You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh.
