Caretaker (School Based)

School Caretaker Protocol Education are working with a primary school in north Bristol , who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working person to undertake the role as  Caretaker.
 You will be working alongside the Business Manager to ensure the safety of the building and it's grounds are safe, presentable and kept to a high quality.
We are looking for someone who: Is a hardworking and positive individual.
Is committed to ensuring the building and grounds are safe and secure.
Can carry out health and safety checks and record these appropriately.
Has good DIY skills and is able to undertake basic handyperson repairs and maintenance or contact the appropriate contractors when necessary.
Is able to work as part of a team and autonomously Be prepared to undertake any necessary training and clean areas of the school where needed Be flexible and willing to lock and unlock the school outside of normal school hours.  Is able to develop excellent relationships with children, staff and parents and act as a role model in line with our school values.
Days & Hours - Monday - Friday, hours to be discussed (can be flexible) Location - Bristol, BS16 Start date -ASAP Skill set - Previous caretaking or facilities experience desirable Protocol Education are required to take safeguarding steps which include: • DBS Check • 2 professional references and work experience gaps listed  • Proof of address Protocol Education can offer: • Competitive rates that express your experience and responsibilities  • £50 refer a friend bonus All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
