About the rolePay Details: £ 24,790 - £25,584 (Grade: 4: SCP 5-7 ) Hours of Work / Weeks per Year / Working Pattern: The working week will be 35 hours: (Monday to Friday 6am -9am; 2.30pm – 6.30pm.
)Main Place of Work: Llangan Primary SchoolDescription:The successful candidate will: Ensure the security of the school premises, including opening and locking gates, setting and unsetting alarms, and being the first point of contact for emergency callouts.Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the school, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing supplies in designated areas.Carry out minor repairs and maintenance to the school property, ensuring all areas remain safe and functional.Oversee the upkeep of outdoor areas, including rubbish disposal, litter picking, sweeping, and ensuring paths are safe during icy or snowy conditions.Monitor and manage contractors on-site, ensuring their work meets required standards and reporting to the Headteacher or Governors as needed.Conduct regular health and safety checks, such as fire alarm testing, compliance with council policies, and monitoring heating and lighting systems.Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and ordering as required.Support the school's safeguarding commitment by adhering to health and safety policies and promoting the welfare of children, with a satisfactory DBS check required before starting About youYou will need to be reliable, proactive, and practical, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and security of the school.
