About the Role We are seeking a skilled Carers Support Co-ordinator to join our team at the Carers Centre Tower Hamlets.

Key Responsibilities Identify and support carers of patients admitted to the Royal London Hospital and Homerton Hospital, ensuring their well-being is prioritised.
Provide information about available hospital resources, support services, and community networks to assist carers effectively.
Facilitate communication between clinical staff and carers, ensuring they are kept informed about the patient's condition, treatment plan, and discharge process.
Offer compassionate emotional support to carers, listening to their concerns and providing a caring presence during difficult times.
Organise workshops and peer support groups to equip carers with essential skills for their caregiving role.
Advocate for carers' needs and rights within the hospital setting, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of the challenges faced by carers.
You will also have a passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
What We Offer This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, including one evening and one weekend day per month.
The salary for this role is £31,793 per annum.

Location The post will be based at the Carers Centre, 21 Brayford Square, London E1 0SG, with frequent working away from the office to provide information/advice sessions in the Royal London or Homerton Hospitals.
