We are looking for a passionate person with excellent communication and people skills to work as part of Home Instead, responsible for delivering dementia support and home care across North Wales Care Assistants MUST have a Valid UK Driving Licence (with access to a vehicle for work purposes)The following positions are available :Wrexham - Part time 16 -25 hours workable pattern, alternative weekends and Drivers Licence essentialPicture this, Enid needs help in a morning to get up and ready for the day.
She also likes a visit in the evening to get her settled and to ensure the house is secure overnight.
If you could give a few consistent hours every week to help, this could be the difference between Enid living independently or Enid needing the full time assistance of a care home.You will have regular clients to make sure you are able to build professional relationships with them.Travel time is always allocated separate to the call duration.No Uniform- this breaks down the barrier to clients resistant to care.Being a Care Assistant means you need to be adaptable, personable but ultimately put others first.
Your role may include:· Companionship· Helping with personal care· Helping with mobility around the home· Overseeing medication and providing medical support· Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming· Preparing and cooking meals· Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptionsFull Time Care Assistant applicants – If you are looking for 25 hours or more, we have fixed fortnightly patterns to ensure an attractive work life balance.
