Careers Advisor

We are looking to recruit a Careers Advisor to be based in the Kent region, providing tailored support to adults from a variety of backgrounds on a range of opportunities, including learning, career paths and employment.
This role will carry a caseload of learners, create SMART action plans, provide tailored support and quality advice to adults.
Working in local Restart centres, community venues, employer settings or remotely using video calls or telephone calls.
You will be based at your closest office, then mileage will be paid to the other 2 sites.

The role will require the ability to work towards and meet individual and team performance targets.
Individual targets will be set monitored and measured.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEIAG Qualification Level 2 or above is essential, and a willingness to complete our fully funded official Level 3/ 4 IAG qualification once in role.Ideally Level 3 qualification in Careers Information & Advice (or equivalent)Excellent use of IT particularly in relation to teaching, presenting, financial performance and target monitoringKnowledge and experience of ESFA and ESF funding requirements would be beneficialSubstantial vocational experience within the IAG sector would be beneficialFull UK Driving License and own vehicle. For full details of the role and the person specification please review the job description or If you would like to speak to the recruitment team before you apply, please email any questions to and one of the team will come back to you.
