Care Technology Technician

Join our team as a Care Technology Technician and make a real difference in people's lives in and around East Sussex.
In this hands-on role, you'll be at the forefront of supporting individuals to maintain their health and independence, whether they're returning home from hospital or looking to stay in their own homes longer.
You'll also be empowering unpaid carers, helping them continue providing essential care for their loved ones.
Each day, you'll load up your dedicated vehicle with vital care technology equipment, from telecare devices to health monitors, and drive across the community delivering, installing, and demonstrating how to use them.
Your role doesn't end thereyou'll also be repairing and maintaining equipment, ensuring it's always in top condition, and offering private customers advice on the products that best suit their needs.
This role is all about connectionworking not just with individuals but also collaborating with the NHS, social care teams, and local voluntary organisations.
You'll help build a "Technology First" culture, where innovative solutions play a central role in health and care systems.
Flexibility is key.
Each day may bring different challenges, from managing stock and booking appointments to communicating with families and carers, helping them navigate other sources of support.
Alongside this, you'll be playing an active role in training others and contributing to exciting development projects that help shape the future of care technology.
At the heart of everything you do will be a focus on safety, efficiency, and care, ensuring that every piece of equipment is properly installed, and every interaction leaves a lasting positive impact.
Please note, the service centre is based in West Sussex, for which you will be required to attend once every two weeks.
The equipment you will provide will be in the area of East Sussex.
