Main duties of the job What you'll be responsible for: Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse Ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.

Person Specification Experience Essential A minimum of 6 months experience as a Mental Health Care Assistant (Qualifications required to accompany individuals with 6-12 months experience) Desirable MAPA or Safety Intervention training Advanced and Emergency Desirable however if you do not hold this training will be provided.
Once 10 shifts have been complete we will pay you for the training days.
Qualifications Essential All Care support worker roles will be required to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification.
Evidence accepted includes: Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements.
Care Certificate from an NHS Organisation QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011 QCF Level 2 OR above Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support issued after 2011 QCF Level 3 OR above Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support issued after 2011 (For Paediatric & Maternity roles only) Degree /Diploma in Nursing and currently do not have an NMC Registration.
