By providing attentive quality care, you can help transform our residents' short or long-term care.We are looking for 2 dedicated male Care and Support Workers, on full time permanent contracts, working day shifts (36 hours per week).There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) for the holders of these vacancies to be male in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010.Job OpportunityAt Strode Park Foundation our values of 'Care, Inspire, Together' underpin our commitment to enabling our residents to live life as they choose. All our team have specialist skills and knowledge in working with people with disabilities and are dedicated to ensuring that residents are supported to live as independently as possible in a fun and nurturing environment.If you are compassionate and caring and not afraid of hard work, you might just be the person we are looking for. As a Care and Support Worker at LDF, you will:Deliver a high standard of essential and routine care to residentsAssist with bed making, serve meals and feed our residents, and use hoists to help our residents moveFollow care plans and assist in their review to ensure appropriate care is deliveredBe responsible for administration of medication following trainingAs a Strode Park Foundation colleague, you will get comprehensive support from day one and receive training and development opportunities to develop your skills.Lady Dane Farmhouse is a beautiful 15-bedded home set in the Kent countryside on the outskirts of the historic town of Faversham.
The home welcomes adults with mixed disabilities who need long or short-term residential care.
