Job overview Band Care Support Worker in the Children's Emergency DepartmentThe Children's Emergency Department at The John Radcliffe Hospital currently has vacancies for Care Support Workers.

Main duties of the job The overall purpose of this role is to: Assist qualified staff in the implementation of patient care programmesDevelop towards assisting the registered nurse in the planning of patient careCarry out a range of patient care tasks in support of and supervised by a registered nurseRecord information detailing patient care given, under supervision of registered nurse Monitor and maintain equipment and environment of the unit, under supervision of registered nurseIn conjunction with the registered nurse provide support to more junior colleagues Working for our organisation Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country.
