Job DescriptionAbout the Role:As a Care Professional with Home Instead Charnwood, you will play a crucial role in supporting older adults in your community.
You'll provide personalised care and companionship, helping clients maintain their independence and live comfortably in their own homes.
Your duties will vary based on each client's needs, but may include:Assisting with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and groomingSupporting clients with medication reminders and meal preparationHelping with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shoppingProviding companionship and emotional supportAccompanying clients to appointments or social outingsMonitoring and reporting any changes in a client's health or wellbeingQualificationsKey Requirements:Full driving licence and access to your own vehicleExcellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and team membersFlexibility and good availability to cover various shifts, including weekends and eveningsAbility to build strong, trusting relationships with clientsWillingness to undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checkPrevious experience in a care setting is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be providedClear communication skills with fluent English and knowledge of the local area.Additional InformationWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly ratesPaid training and development opportunitiesFlexible working hours to suit your lifestyleSupportive team environment with 24/7 assistanceCareer growth and opportunities for further qualificationsThe reward of knowing you're making a real difference every day
