Job summary We are looking for Care Navigators to join our friendly practice on a part-time basis.
We have fixed term contracts working various shifts on Thursday and Friday.The successful applicants must have previous admin experience and demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and previous experience in a healthcare setting would be an advantage.You will be the first point of contact for patients and other contacts, you will book patient appointments, deal with general enquiries, and support the day to day running of the practice.Our opening hours are 08:00-18:30, Monday to Friday, and shifts will be scheduled within these times.
Applicants must be fully flexible to work their shifts as required within these hours.
Please ensure you can commit to this availability before applying, as we are unable to accommodate restrictions outside these times.

Main duties of the job Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice.Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-up appointments, either over the telephone or face to face.Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team members and associated healthcare agencies and providers.Receive and make telephone calls as required.
Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery.
