Job DescriptionThis is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the team at Home Instead Oxford as a Care Manager.
Our office is based in Witney and supports clients across Oxford and parts of West Oxfordshire.As the Care Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our domiciliary care service ensuring the delivery of outstanding quality care.
This will include being responsible for the efficient running of the business, quality control, managing the needs of the clients and day-to-day management of internal staff and our Care Professionals.The role will involve:Supporting the growth and development of a high quality private domiciliary care service for older people in the local areaTraining and support where needed for Care ProfessionalsLiaising with new enquiries and converting clientsCare planning and conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance to relevant legal and regulatory requirementsManaging a small team, making sure that exceptional service is delivered to our clients and workloads are managed accordinglyEnsuring successful operation of quality control systemsContinually reviewing and improving our processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is always being deliveredEffectively managing complaints and incidents, carrying out investigations relating to the quality of the service and using those findings to initiate improvementsPromoting a positive culture in line with the Home Instead ethos and valuesMaintaining CQC standards, demonstrating compliance and dealing with notificationsQualificationsAdditional InformationTo be successful, you will:Have care experience with excellent customer service and people management skillsBe commercially aware and strive for business growthHave the ability to build good working relationshipsHave strong organisation and planning skillsBe able to work well and accurately under pressure whilst working independently with minimal supervisionBe flexible to meet the demands of the business including participating in an on-call rota if requiredPossess a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care with desire to work towards Level 5Be required to apply for registration as the Registered Care Manager with CQCYou should have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, as you may be required to be available to support team members out in the field in emergency situations and to travel throughout the community to conduct new client assessments.Our offer to you:Competitive salary ranging from £32,000 - £36,000 per annum (DOE) plus performance-related quarterly bonusesTraining, development and progression opportunitiesFree Blue Light Card, giving you discounts across a wide range of establishmentsEmployee Assistance Programme28 days holiday including Bank HolidaysJob satisfaction and to work alongside a passionate teamEmployee referral bonus programmeAccess to funded NVQ's including level 5Working hours are Monday to Friday 08.30am - 5.00pm.This role will play a vital part in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality care and will make a real difference for the older people we work with.
