Role: Care Manager/ Business Manager Location: Medway- must be a driverSalary: £38,Hours: 40 hours per weekA rare and unique opportunity to lead an organisation who are providing expert domiciliary care to dementia patients in Kent with creative care plans that explore care in a new way.
You will be responsible for managing operations from CQC Registration to recruitment, and beyond whilst maximising on profitability, managing funds and driving commercial success.This is a brand-new position and will be an instrumental role in building a successful operation.
With a strong business model backed already by the KCC and mirrored through a partnering charity, all this team is missing is the perfect Care/Business Manager to drive things forward.
There is a wonderful team of people who work for the partner charity who are there to support and guide the new person in this role.This is a hands-on role that will see you doing a wide variety of duties including:Compliance:CQC ApplicationOverseeing statutory, legal and financial requirements particularly Quality Care CommissionMonitor and assess effectiveness of services and identify areas of improvementWrite best practice protocolsStaff and Training:Recruit, train supervise and oversee allocation of Dementia BefriendersOversight of all staff safety and complianceProvide ongoing training, education, and professional development opportunities for staffCare:Develop personalised support plans that address individual needsManage referrals and undertake a rigorous risk and needs assessment, liaise with funding authorities where applicableCollaborate with families, social workers, community providers etc.Commercial and financial:Managed budget and allocate resources accordinglyInputting payroll information to SAGE PayrollRaising and paying invoices via SAGEReport on operational performance to boardMarketing campaigns for the service- Marketing support can be provided by charity partnerThis role suits a self-starter with a background in care and a passion for driving operational excellence.
