Our mission is to brighten the lives of seniors, giving them a sense of purpose, wellbeing & worth.Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, experienced and motivated Care Manager to join our expanding team.As Registered Care Manger you will be responsible for the growth and development of our domiciliary care services ensuring outstanding quality care.
Initially you will work closely with the Directors with the aim to take the registration in the future.
Responsibilities will include start up, growth and development of our domiciliary services.
Whilst maintaining efficient running of the business operations, quality control, managing the needs of the clients and day to day management of staff.
This role is suitable for both an experienced Registered Care Manager looking for a new challenge or a highly motivated Care Supervisor or Co-ordinator who is looking for the next step up in their career.In this varied and challenging role, you will be involved in:Working closely with the Director to coordinate setup, growth and development of a high quality private domiciliary care service for older people in the local areaNetworking in the local community to raise awareness of the servicePromoting the highest standards of care and serviceOffer support and leadership to the care teamConverting new client enquiries and coordinating staffing rotasEnsuring compliance by maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organisational requirementsEnsuring successful operation of quality control systems and performing quality assurance visits for clientsContinually reviewing and improving our processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is always being deliveredEffectively managing complaints and incidents, carrying out investigations relating to the quality of the service and using those findings to initiate improvementsResponsibility & ownership of key performance indicatorsUndertake monthly audits including recruitment documentation, accident & incidents, medication & trend analysisPromoting a positive culture in line with the Home Instead ethos and valuesWork collaboratively with the registered manager of Belfast office to ensure consistency across both officesParticipate in the On-Call rota as requiredQualificationsExperience in a management role in health and social care is essentialStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamExcellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detailAbility to work well and accurately under pressureBe responsive, agile and remain calm whilst dealing with multiple prioritiesBe flexible to meet demands of the business including participating in an on-call rota.Knowledge of relevant NI legislation and regulations governing the provision of care services, including RQIA regulations and NISCCGood working knowledge of IT Systems with experience of Microsoft Office.
The ability to work with large databases and virtual communication platforms whilst adopting new technologies where appropriatePossess the appropriate combination of qualification, registration and experience as set in the Domiciliary Care standards.I.e.
