Care Home Team Leader

Full time role available, 36 hours per week, shift patterns are 08:00am - 20:00pm long day, 20:00pm - 08:00 am nights, 08:00am - 14:00pm short day and 14:00 - 20:00pm short day, Must be car driver due to remote location.
A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins).
A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.  Our service, located in the peaceful village of Chipstead Lake, Kent enjoys incredible views of the village's large fishing lake.
The service actively involves its users in their local community, where they take part in a wide range of activities using local resources.
As a Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire you will become part of a fantastic team.
You will provide effective supervision of a team of Support Workers, lead with passion and enthusiasm promoting positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
You will ensure our customers receive the very best care, personal support and assistance with daily life tasks.
Supporting our Person Centred approach, you will ensure maximum independence for our customers and helping them to achieve individual aspirations.

To be successful in this role you will: Ideally have a level of professional development and registration (NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ) or willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Have experience in supervising a team.
Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
Be experienced in working within a care setting.
Flexibility to work within rostered hours / prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.
