Care Home Administrator Hours: 40 hours per week - permanent Salary: £30,000 per annum + fantastic benefits Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire OX 10 9EG Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Care Home Administrator to join their team and play a pivotal role within the homes management team.
Providing the General Manager with the support needed to ensure the efficient running of a high quality home, this varied position encompasses managing Customer Experience elements alongside, HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Finance and the supervision of junior members of the administration team.
Youll need to be a self-sufficient and professional individual who is enthusiastic and promotes a positive image when communicating with others and talking about the home, creating a positive impression.
Along with strong IT skills and excellent organisation, our client's Administrators will need to be comfortable in giving others direction.
RESPONSIBILITIES Promote a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors Manage enquiries and showrounds of the home for prospective families, including managing the customer database appropriately to support the commercial performance and conversion of enquiries for the home Drive the occupancy and reputation of the Care Home as part of a community engagement team Support resident and family feedback with a focus on customer care Assist with the recruitment of home staff, completing employment new starter checks and arranging inductions Payroll preparation for home based staff Provide advice and guidance to employees on queries using the HR tools and resources available Ensure that all personal files are stored securely Attend meetings and produce accurate notes and minutes where required Ensure all rotas are complete Manage safe contents, petty cash, and resident fund accounts Update ad-hoc training, supervisions, and appraisals on staff records Offer guidance on staff development opportunities including signposting to Apprenticeships and qualifications NEED TO HAVE Experience in a customer facing role Previous involvement in HR administration and recruitment High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise Proficient user of Microsoft- specifically Word, Excel and Outlook CIPD qualification would be beneficial REWARDS AND BENEFITS Rewarding Excellence bonus, meaning you will be financially rewarded by up to £500* for a Good or Outstanding CQC inspection Unlimited access to our generous refer a friend scheme, earning up to £500* per referral Access to a wide range of retail and leisure discounts at big brands and supermarkets Free access to medical specialists, who are available for a second opinion if you need it to make a decision with confidence Confidential and free access to counselling and legal services Tax code review service, where we will check that you are on the right code and paying the right level of tax Option to join our monthly staff lottery alongside thousands of colleagues across the UK As the only healthcare provider to be accredited as one of the best companies to work for in the UK, our client is dedicated to ensuring that our team are respected and their contribution valued.
