We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and dynamic  Administrator  with great customer service skills and experience in a fast-paced office environment to join our hard-working and friendly team at  Abbot Care Home in Harlow, Essex.  As one of our Care Home Administrators, your focus will be to work with the Home Manager and Care Teams to ensure the smooth running of the administrative function throughout the home.
Excelcare is a family-owned Care Home group established for over 34 years. We provide support to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues.
By joining us you will become one of the 'family' and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect: Salary: £29,894 per annum 45 hours a week 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
About the role: To provide all aspects of administrative support for residents, management and staff within the Home including Payroll, Petty Cash, Banking, Invoices and Ordering, Minute Taking, Reports, Residents Finances, Resident Admissions and Discharges To support with all areas of staff recruitment, training and supervision Support with allocation of work to reception team Answering the telephone and receiving visitors To support with all areas of staff recruitment, training and supervision To maintain and implement the organisations administrative policies and procedures To implement appropriate and active administration systems within the Home To attend team meetings and training What we are looking for from you: Experience in payroll is preferred NVQ or equivalent in Administration is desirable Good IT skills including the use of Word, Excel and Outlook Experience of Minute Taking Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Eligible to work in the UK GCSE's in English and Mathematics What we offer in return for your hard work: 28 Days holiday including bank holidays Free on-site parking* Refer a Friend Scheme rewarding £500 for every person you refer DBS certificate paid by Excelcare* Comprehensive induction programme Funded qualifications via the apprenticeship programme (where required) Paid uniform* Employee of the month - £100 for outstanding contribution Free learning and development* Team appreciation week *Terms and Conditions apply Belong with us and apply online today - we look forward to hearing from you.
