Job Description We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Welwyn Hatfield, United Kingdom.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly individuals within our community, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Assist elderly clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions Provide emotional support and companionship to clients Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans Document and report any changes in clients' conditions or concerns Accompany clients to medical appointments or social activities when needed Respond promptly to emergencies and provide basic first aid when necessary Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities Benefits Include: Hourly rates £12.00 - £13.00 per hour (averaging with benefits £14.00+ per hour) Paid travel time between clients (some restrictions apply) Travel expenses £0.30/per mile - £0.45/per mile Paid when training at standard rate including workshops + e-learning Minimum 1-hour visits Job offer made at interview Lots more benefits Contact Patricia Eagling, Recruitment Manager about the opportunities on offer at: ****** All first applications acknowledged.
Qualifications Essential Requirements: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and alternate weekends Valid UK driver's license and access to reliable car Live within our franchise boundaries Have the Right to Work in the UK - currently not licenced to offer sponsorship Additional Information We are also interested in Live-In care professionals and as a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.  In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support and high rates of pay.
