Job DescriptionWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Welwyn Hatfield, United Kingdom.
This role involves providing essential support to our clients during evening hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily activities.Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and groomingProvide medication reminders and support with prescribed treatmentsPrepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are metOffer companionship and emotional support to clientsPerform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environmentAccompany clients to appointments or social activities when requiredMonitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to supervisorsMaintain accurate records of care provided and any incidentsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive careRespond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocolsBenefits Include:Hourly rates £12.00per hour (averaging £14.00 with benefits)Higher rates for evenings and weekends.Paid travel time between client visits (some restrictions apply)Paid travel expenses £0.30 - £0.45/per mile.Paid full rate when undertaking all training, in-house or e-learningMinimum 1-hour visits.Lots more +Contact Patricia Eagling, Recruitment Manager to hear more about the role onAll first time applications acknowledged and emailed.QualificationsEssential Requirements:Valid UK driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (essential)Must reside locally and within our franchise areaMust be prepared to cover weekend working on alternate weekendsMust have the Right to Work in the UK - we cannot at the moment offer sponsorship or additional hours if being sponsored.Additional InformationWe are also interested in Live-In care professionals and as a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.
