Essential Requirements: A genuine desire to work with and care for people Willingness to learn and embrace the challenges of supporting vulnerable individuals, including those with dementia or other illnesses PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) certification for working with vulnerable adults and children (we can assist with applications for those without PVG) A valid driving license and access to a car are required for this role.
Hours: All Care Workers follow a condensed repeating schedule: Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday Full-time Care Workers are on the rota for a full day, while part-time Care Workers are on the rota for half a day.
You will be required to work every 2nd weekend.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide essential support to service users in their own homes.
Promote independence in daily tasks while adhering to individual care plans.
Assist service users with personal care in line with their specific needs.
Maintain a clean and safe home environment, free from health and safety hazards.
Maintain detailed record-keeping.
