They are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their friendly, award-winning team as a Care Assistant, focusing on delivering high-quality personal care to residents during the night shift.
Main duties of the job As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your responsibilities will include assisting residents with their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect.
You will also be responsible for recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas in residents, acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, and practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work efficiently and with initiative, and a respectful and adaptive approach to cover a range of responsibilities.

ABOUT THE ROLEYour focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.Other responsibilities will include:Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential No experience is required as Avery Healthcare offers a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence within the role.
