With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.Here's what it would involve:Minimum 1-hour visitsIntroductions to all new clientsVisiting the same Clients for continuity of care and to allow you to build up a meaningful relationshipCompanionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visitHelp with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light houseworkAccompanying to appointments or shoppingPersonal Care - Supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.QualificationsYou do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assistant as full training is given.
However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people.
This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.
You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful.
Also a sense of humour certainly helps.
You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.Additional InformationYou will receive full, ongoing support as well as access to award winning training.
