Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Porthcawl & Bridgend.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their daily activities.Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and groomingPrepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are metProvide companionship and emotional support to clientsAccompany clients to appointments and social activitiesPerform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environmentMonitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisorsAdminister medication as directed by healthcare professionalsMaintain accurate records of care provided and client progressParticipate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledgeQualificationsValid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicleAvailability to work every other weekend to ensure continuity of careExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenPhysical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily activitiesPatience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help othersBasic literacy and numeracy skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and independentlyStrong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressureFlexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedulesPrevious experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred but not requiredValid right to work in the UKWillingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) enhanced disclosure checkCommitment to ongoing professional development and trainingAdditional InformationAs a Care professional, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay and excellent support.If you're looking for work which is extremely rewarding and satisfactory and have a high-degree of flexibility to meet our clients' needs, we would love to hear from you.
