Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Porthcawl & Bridgend.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their daily activities.
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Accompany clients to appointments and social activities Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge Qualifications Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle Availability to work every other weekend to ensure continuity of care Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily activities Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others Basic literacy and numeracy skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred but not required Valid right to work in the UK Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) enhanced disclosure check Commitment to ongoing professional development and training Additional Information As a Care professional, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay and excellent support.
