We are recruiting a Support Worker in Chelmsford to provide care for our fun-loving young adult client.
Our Client Our client lives at home with his parent and siblings.
He enjoys going out, gaming, going to the gym and accessing the community.
We are looking to hire bubbly characters who are going to be engaging, fun, and have some similar interests or hobbies.
Our client has a spinal cord injury and needs support with catheter care, personal care and day-to-day support.
Your role as a Support Worker would include, but not be limited to, assisting with the client's day or nighttime routine, supporting with any clinical intervention required throughout the shift, providing personal care, administering medication, and regularly accessing the community during a day shift.
Shift availability Monday to Sunday: 10:00am – 16:00pm Responsibilities To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
To confidently and clearly communicate with the client and using aids where necessary.
To show the client dignity and respect when providing personal care to the client.
To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
Requirements 6 months professional UK-based care experience.
Complex Care experience: Spinal Cord Injuries.
Clear spoken English.
