Job DescriptionAs a Home Instead Care Professional you will support individuals in their own home.
Allowing them to continue living life their way, putting their wishes at the very heart of what we do.
Visits are minimum of 1 hour, giving you valuable time with each and everyone of your clients.
You will visit a number clients regularly, allowing you to build positive rapport and familiarisation.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients, providing companionship and stimulation with their daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort and maintaining their emotional health and wellbeing.This includes but is not limited to:Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, when required.Medication Reminders: Ensuring clients take their medications as prescribed.Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
Light Housekeeping: Assisting with light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.Transportation: Providing transportation for clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
Giving them the freedom and choice when required.QualificationsThe only certificate you'll need to have to start this role is a safe working Vehicle and a full U.K Driver's Licence is essential.Full training is provided, your compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine desire to support others, excellent communication and interpersonal skills is what is needed for you to succeed in the role.
Please also note this role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
