You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more!
We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs.
Every day will be different.
And you'll never know what challenges you're about to face next.
One thing you can be sure of though, is that you'll be making your clients' days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
The client is a young gentlemen who has unfortunately had a recent spinal injury, you will be offering mental and emotional support, encouragement and enablement.
Assisting him with trips around the community and appointments, whilst also maintaining his personal care, bowel and bladder management.
He is very family orientated as he has a loving and supportive family including a pet dog, a big fan of music and gaming in particular so sharing similar interests would be a big plus!
Qualifications What you'll need You don't need any social care experience to apply for this role.
We're more interested in your compassion and ability to care.
You'll need to be resilient too and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
