Job description Job responsibilities To work as a member of a flexible team enabling and supporting patients through the booking of outpatient services according to NHS plan access targets in a knowledgeable and courteous manner.
To provide a professional, accurate and courteous appointments and reception service within the Cardiology Booking Service.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential Good standard of secondary education, equivalent to 4 GCSEs.
Physical Skills Essential Handling cases notes and deliveries.
Standard keyboard skills.
Aptitudes Essential Flexibility in line with service needs.
Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to continuously update working practices.
Reliable and punctual.
Abilities Essential Ability to relate and communicate effectively with staff at all levels, both clinical and non-clinical.
Communicate Skills Essential Must be able to use a variety of communication methods.
Must remain calm and professional under pressure.
