About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support classroom activities, assisting students with their learning and encouraging a positive learning environment.
You'll help prepare learning materials, work individually or in small groups with students, and contribute to fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering interactive lessons and adapt materials as needed.
Help students access the curriculum and promote active participation in their learning.
Provide individual or small group support, helping students stay engaged and confident.
Aid in managing classroom behaviour and support students' social and emotional development.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure consistent support and communication.
Keep open communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role or with children is highly desirable.
A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate, would be advantageous.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
A passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Willingness to undertake additional training if required.
