Job DescriptionCarbon Reporting Specialist - CoatbridgeSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)Location: Coatbridge, ScotlandSummaryAn industry leading European supplier for railway electrification is looking to recruit a Carbon Reporting Specialist to Join there team in Scotland.MAIN DUTIES:- Be part of the HSQE team and assist the team to maintain full engagement in meeting business objectives.
- Develop robust approaches to carbon measurement throughout the company.
- Identifying industry best practice relating to carbon reduction.
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to understand their role in Carbon Reduction reporting e.g.
corporate and project.
- Capture the measures and metrics that help the business regularly track its progress on the Carbon Reduction Programme.
- Support the business units to help them understand what they can do to reduce their carbon footprint.
e.g.
operational, capital and embodied.
- To review our progress and report back on energy efficiency initiatives.THE PERSON:- Highly motivated and proactive; focused on achieving and delivering technical excellence - Ability to engage and enthuse staff and clients - Skilled at collaborative working, have good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively - Flexible and prepared to take on new challenges - Minimum 2 years' experience in project / coordination or data management - Educated to degree level in a STEM subject, or environmental management would be an advantage - Excellent IT knowledge required including use of a variety of software and systems to analyse and produce data reporting - Strong organisational skills - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels within the business and the ability to think creatively - Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders across the business and industry - Good relationship building skill - Willingness to learnWE OFFER YOU:- A varied, responsible and challenging position - An open, dynamically growing international business environment - The opportunity to actively participate in the development of the companyIf you are interested in this role, have the drive, ambition and relevant experience and skills to join this fast paced team, please get in touch to learn more.
