Car Transporter Driver

Transporter Driver to ensure the efficient and timely collection and delivery of vehicles to and from auction sites, whilst adhering to procedures, legislation, and regulations, always providing customer service excellence.Key Accountabilities: Ensure daily safety checks are completed and defects reported and rectified inline with procedure.Working inline with WTD and drivers' hours regulations.Load optimisation.Safe loading practices (SSOW).Communicate with branch, buyers, vendors, central logistics operations team.Awareness of the UK highway code;Work inline with SLA's and expectations of the business.Staying aware of any route diversions or updates to their delivery journeyFollowing accident reporting processProviding customer service excellenceKeeping all licence requirements up to dateSkills, and Experience Required: HGV licence (relevant for the role)Drivers CPCExperience withing the transport industry.Min 2 years driving experience.CommunicationCustomer ServiceOrganising daily tasksLoad planningSTRICTLY NO AGENCIES PLEASEWe work with a carefully selected set of recruitment agencies and we're not looking to add to our PSL.We do not accept unsolicited agency CV's sent to the recruitment team or directly to the hiring manager.
