A strong understanding of contractual mechanisms to safeguard public investments is highly desirable, enabling the successful navigation of complex agreements.
Key responsibilities include budget management, financial monitoring of project progress, and the development and management of funding agreements and contracts.
The successful candidate will also oversee risk management, ensuring compliance with governance and assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.Key accountabilities:Lead cross-disciplinary teams to deliver complex, high-profile economic transformation and capital projects.
Support partners in developing business cases, ensuring projects deliver the required capabilities to achieve intended benefits.
Oversee drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts, including approvals, change requests, extensions, and final accounts.
Negotiate and finalise agreements to align with project goals and objectives.
Balance and mitigate commercial risks while optimising financial returns, collaborating with legal and technical experts.
