Please contact Melanie Goodall k Main duties of the job This is an excellent opportunity to work in a Team Leader role ensuring the provision of an efficient, integrated and comprehensive administrative/support service within the Cancer Pathways Team.The Team Leader will manage a team of cancer pathway co-ordinators and trackers being responsible for recruitment, training, appraisals and performance management.The Cancer Pathways Team provides an administration service encompassing the facilitation of Cancer Multi-disciplinary Team meetings, and monitoring of patients on cancer pathways to ensure the best patient experience.An ability to lead and highly developed communication skills are essential.
The candidate must be organised, enthusiastic and be prepared to work with the pressure of deadlines.
A previous working knowledge within an acute trust setting is essential for this role.The successful candidate will support the Cancer Manager in implementing new initiatives across the Trust in relation to cancer pathways.
