We re looking for a Community Safety Campaigns Officer someone who can help us support our Southwark 2030 vision of a safer Southwark.
Key Duties/Accountabilities Ensure the council s community safety campaign programme makes use of the best available channels across the wide spectrum of communications disciplines tailoring approaches to suit the correct audiences.
Be responsible for the delivery of a number of campaigns using data and insight to inform approaches ensuring all activity is monitored and evaluated and reported back regularly to the organisation.
Generate positive stories that uphold the council s narrative and be able to write and produce content appropriate for different channels.
Work with local and national media and have a strong background in this area Feel confident in capturing photography and video content with proven track record of using content management systems to schedule and plan social media content.

Essential Experience Required: Experience of using a newsletter platform for example Granicus.
This role will be responsible for planning writing and collating enewsletters to a very high standard growing our first Community Safety enewsletter from the ground up is essential.
Experience of the core professional disciplines of marketing media internal and digital communications is essential.
Experience in public sector and experience in delivering measurable and impactful campaigns is essential.
Essential Qualification Required: General level of education qualification is essential.
